| Læringsmål: | On completion of the course, students should be able to:
* Distinguish between different paradigms and discourses around use of IT in private and public organizations.
* Present the details and areas of operation of a select number of models and concepts relating to IT-governance.
* Use those models and concepts in the analysis of case materials.
* Develop case material that reflects the complexity of IT-governance.
* Discuss the range of application and the limits of the presented models and theories.
* Apply key concepts and perspectives from the course independently in a small case study of digital management, governance or accountability. |
| Fagligt indhold: | Follows the course Digital Management, Governance and Accountability with the addition that the project students work independently with a small case study within the framework of the course objectives and literature. |
| Læringsaktiviteter: | 12 weeks of Lectures and exercises/group work (following Digital Management, Governance and Accountability). For the project: 8 sessions.
Students will spend app. 20 hours a week on the course compared to 10 hours for the 7.5-version of the course, and hence the problem scope and size of the empirical material analyzed is required to be substantially larger than with the 7.5 ECTS-course.
1) Participation in the activities of Digital Management, Governance and Accountability.
2) Work under supervision individually or in groups with a small case study from research design via data collection to report writing.
The 8 sessions where we meet will work as supervision and peer discussions of the independent case studies the students are expected to do. We will go through among other things formulation of research question, research design, data collection, analysis and report writing. During the weeks where we do not meet, the students are either expected to collect empirical material independently, or supervision will be carried out in writing (as response on own text) |

| Eksamensform og -beskrivelse: | C: Skriftlige arbejder uden mundtlig eksamen., (7-scale, internal exam) The exam consists of hand-in by groups of one to three students.
A report written by one student should be approximately 20 pages plus 4 extra pages per extra student. In the 15 ECTS-version of the course, compared to the 7.5 ECTS-version, the students will expand the syllabus with academic literature of approximately 400 pages.
