| Læringsmål: | The objectives of the course is to introduce to the students the basic concept of digital manipulation, analysis, and understanding of images. The students will use commercial state-of-the-art image processing software and develop algorithms in a Matlab environment. In this way pratical skill in use and programming of image analysis algortihm are gained.

| Fagligt indhold: | The course covers subjects in global image processing (formats, histograms), local image processing (local histograms, filterings), image analysis (feature detection, template matching), image understanding (scale-space, Marr's primal sketch). |
