Formelle forudsætninger:This course consists of individually designed projects in the field of Enterprise Services and forms second part of the specialisation 'Digital Governance and Enterprise Services'. It draws on the course Enterprise Services. Students who want to enroll in this course must have participated in either 'Enterprise Services' or 'Digital Governance'. The teaching will consist in project supervision, individually or in groups. 
Læringsmål:After the course the student should be able to:

1.Define a research question and topic of investigation within the area of Enterprise Services

2.Apply and reflect on appropriate methodology and theoretical frame for understanding Enterprise Services

3.Analyze the topic and discuss implications of the analysis in the context of services creation, provision, and management

4.Describe the chances and risks of modern workforce in a globalized network economy

5.Characterize the different approaches to implementing a successful IT project, to managing a successful near- or offshore IT development project, and to creating innovative services.

6. Based on the project work, be able to describe and discuss a master thesis synopsis 
Fagligt indhold:The post-industrial society was capable of creating innovative IT-driven concepts, processes and services which now require new ways of thinking about the creation, management and sourcing of knowledge-intensive enterprise services. This course will help students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of social skills, cultural intelligence, and individual mindfulness in modern working environments such as in IT-outsourcing projects to provide knowledge-intensive enterprise services. 
Læringsaktiviteter:

Two lectures in the first two weeks.
Amount of supervision: 5 meetings per group, each meeting is for an hour.

As part of their thesis preparation, students must find a supervisor no later than April 15th.
Students must meet with their supervisor at least twice during the semester and before May 13th .
Students must have a thesis project agreement approved by their supervisor by May 24th

Eksamensform og -beskrivelse:D2G Aflevering med mundtlig eksamen der supplerer projekt. Delt ansvar for projekt., (7-scale, external exam)

Number of pages for the hand in: 20 pages + 4 additional pages per group member (also counting the first member). A margin of +/- 10% is considered within the normal range.
Duration of exam: 20 minutes per student incl. assessment and feedback.
