Læringsmål: | By the end of this course, you should be able to:
• recognize essential characteristics of services,
• identify and analyze elements of service ecosystems and their interaction with each other,
• assess social, technological and business contexts of service ecosystems,
• use appropriate research methods to understand user experience at various touch points and throughout the service,
• identify service innovation opportunities,
• develop service blueprints, and
• communicate your analyses and innovations articulately, efficiently and persuasively in multimodal texts. |
Fagligt indhold: | The course introduces you to the principles and methods of service design. Through lectures, case studies and workshops, the course presents conceptual and operational tools for analyzing or improving existing service ecosystems as well as for developing new ones. Course topics include business strategies for service design, systems thinking, user experience assessment for services, touch-point analysis and design, front- and back-stage processing, and the development of service blueprints. |
