Specialisation

‘Green Design for Global Futures’ specialisation focuses on the complex relationship between global society, technology, and the environment and issues of sustainability. It provides students with an understanding of how to analyse and research those global systems, from the internet to electricity, which always include the environment, social organisations, as well as technologies.

Project Cluster

This is a ‘Project Cluster’ - which means that you will be conducting your own self-led empirical project, supported by the project supervisor and other students in the group taking this Project Cluster.

The aim of the project is to apply the analytic tools presented in the first course ‘Situated Analysis of Global Connections’, as part of an extended empirical project. There is also the scope to develop new data gathering and analysis skills.

The Project Cluster will provide a framework for your project, end to end, from project planning to project writing. There will be regular supervision, and a selection of focused literature to support the development of your empirical skills e.g. from ethnographic data collection to critical report writing.

ETHOS

This Project Cluster will be able to take advantage of the empirical methods and data collection software and skills available in the ETHOS Lab.
Læringsaktiviteter:Projektklynge

The Project Cluster is structured around the following activities

• Framework for your project, which will set regular ‘project milestones’ to be met.
• Supervision with the Project Supervisor, which will be held on a regular basis.
• Project Cluster Group, of all students, which will meet regularly to discuss the literature, and to develop group learning around new data methods.
