The course will be taught as a seminar where the teacher will steer the discussion, but the students are expected to contribute actively by presenting themes and participate in the debate each week. There are no lectures or PowerPoint presentations.

It is expected that students participate actively in the different elements of the seminar. (Preparation, discussion and exercises).
In addition, it is expected that each student contribute to the common course twitter feed each week.

We will meet once each week and discuss the texts. It is expected that instead of personal notes each student will contribute each week to the collective twitter feed associated with the class.

In the first 8 weeks there is the discussion of the common readings where the participants will also have a chance to focus on themes that are of special interest. In this period there will also be brainstorming and planning of the projects. In the 7 last weeks of the class there will be project work with faculty advising along with other actvities that will help the student come further in their work.

The class takes up 15 ECTS and thus covers half of the time for a full time student. Consequently you can expect to use approximately 18 hours a week on the class (four hours in the actual seminar and the rest in preparation, reading and in project work). There are lectures once a week.
