Læringsmål:After the course the student should be able to:

Reflect on the relationship between fading enterprises boundaries, globalization, offshoring, knowledge management, as well as spatial and relational distance and apply it in the context of services creation, provision, and management.

Describe and discuss your personal role as part of modern workforce and accompanying chances and risks in a globalized network economy.

Elaborate on the importance of social skills, cultural intelligence, and mindfulness in modern IT-based working environments.

Analyze, compare and interpret critically information systems literature on services and apply theories and methods to an IT project.

Characterize the different approaches to implementing a successful IT project, to managing a successful near- or offshore IT development project, and to creating innovative services.

Based on the project work, be able to describe and discuss a master thesis synopsis. 
Fagligt indhold:Please note, that due to technical challenges, changes may occur before the start of the semester (week 35) – this applies to all sections of the course description.

The post-industrial society was capable of creating innovative IT-driven concepts, processes and services which now require new ways of thinking about the creation, management and sourcing of knowledge-intensive enterprise services. This course will help students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the role of social skills, cultural intelligence, and individual mindfulness in modern working environments such as in IT-outsourcing projects to provide knowledge-intensive enterprise services. 
Læringsaktiviteter:

As part of the course, students are expected to conduct an investigation related to the teaching topics in practice.

As part of their thesis preparation, students must find a supervisor no later than November 13th. Students must meet with their supervisor at least twice during the semester and before December 11th.
Students must have an approved thesis project agreement before the start of next semester.

Eksamensform og -beskrivelse:D2G Aflevering med mundtlig eksamen der supplerer projekt. Delt ansvar for projekt., (7-scale, external exam)

Hand-in for groups with following oral exam supplemented by the hand-in (D2G)

Number of pages for the hand in: 20 pages + 4 additional pages per group member (also counting the first member). A margin of +/- 10% is considered within the normal range.

Duration of exam: 20 minutes per student incl. assessment and feedback.
