Læringsmål:: After the course the students should be able to:- Analyse opportunities and limitations given by the technology respectively by the organizational context when an e-learning system is implemented in an organization.- Understand how the implementation of an e-learning system can be managed with regard to technological and organizational aspects.- Understand opportunities and limitations given by digital media with regard to how learning processes proceed.- Understand the connection between an organization\'s strategic situation and how e-learning can be used. 
Fagligt indhold:During the last years there has been an increasing interest among organizations for the use of different digital media in order to enhance the competence development in organizations. This technology is commonly labelled e-learning and it is usually regarded as a learning process that wholly or partly is based on digital teaching material and an electronic communication students and teachers.The course takes its point of departure in a broad perspective on e-learning and starts with to put e-learning in a, for the organization, strategic perspective. However, if an organizations strategies regarding e-learning would be realized, the systems are to be implemented and integrated in the organization\'s ordinary activities. In order to create a understanding for this process a few perspectives on IT-implementation will be discussed, where the interaction between technology and the organizational context is analysed. By this analyse a deeper knowledge can be created about how the interaction between the technology and the organizational context shape the introduction of different kinds of e-learning systems. By gaining knowledge about these processes an understanding can also be created about how the implementation of different kinds of e-learning system can be managed.After the lectures about implementation of e-learning systems, attention will be paid on the design of the systems, and how organizational learning and workplace learning can be supported by information and communication technology. However, not all forms of learning can be supported by digital media. Therefore an emphasizes will be put on how individuals learn and by gaining this knowledge, students would be able to understand which forms of learning processes that could be supported by digital media.By the course a few guest lectures will also be given, where demands put on companies designing and delivering e-learning systems will be presented and discussed.
