  • Computer systems architecture,
  • Networks and protocols, and
  • Security.

Fagligt indhold:The course will cover three topics: computer architecture, computer networking, and security.

Computer architecture is about the physical design and workings of computer systems. It includes data representation, arithmetic logic units, data paths and control, and memory hierarchies.

Network systems cover network devices such as servers, clients, switches, routers, and hubs and the elements and the protocol stack of modern layered network structures.

Security includes basic cryptographic techniques and security systems such as firewalls and encrypted communication.

For at blive cand.it. i SDT skal du bestå SDT¿s backbonekurser, og desuden gennemføre en 22,5 ECTS specialisering samt to 7,5 ECTS valgfag.

In order to graduate as a MSc in SDT, you need to pass the SDT backbone courses, and also take a 22,5 ECTS specialization and two 7,5 ECTS electives.
