Fagligt indhold:Together with the first course of this specialization, this course teaches students how to combine competence in media and communication with design methods to create innovative new media products for a variety of digital platforms. The course is organised in a problem¬-based learning approach and will be highly student-active, focusing on the students’ own work with practical cases and projects.

The course will be structured around a practical, semester-long project done in collaboration with one or more external partners. The projects should aim to develop innovative communication concepts to a prototype state where they can be meaningfully tested and evaluated with real users. The main focus is on how to develop communication concepts which give value both to users/audiences and the external partners.

Supervising in class and in groups

What if the student fails to pass a mandatory activity:
If a group testifies that someone did not participate in preparing the group presentation, it is treated as a group conflict. The teachers may attempt to facilitate a solution to the conflict, but if that fails, the student(s) in question may at the teacher’s discretion be removed from the group and asked to do a separate project alone or together with other students.

Students who are unable to attend a compulsory course day will be given an essay assignment that must be passed instead.
