Formelle forudsætninger:Please note that this course is only available for students enrolled in the programme Digital Innovation & Management and signed up for the 1st course of the specialisation Digital Governance and Enterprise Services. 
Læringsmål:After the Specialization course the student should be able to:

Demonstrate application of theories for Digital Governance
Among these theories, select relevant scientific theories and methods to be considered within the project context

Demonstrate understanding of scientific methodology by discussing selection of appropriate scientific methodology and producing a project report based on theory from the Digital Governance course and involving one or more case studies on key topics, relevant to Governance of complex IT challenges.

Evaluate the results obtained from the study and discuss selected and relevant implications for the subject for the case study: Impact on organization, manageability of project, assessment of value and benefits and impact on society/social environment and

Based on the project work be able to describe and discuss a Master Thesis synopsis 
Fagligt indhold:Based on the Digital Governance curriculum four special lectures:

General presentations on scientific methodology/ scientific reports

Introduction to research study methodology

Introduction to complex portfolio management

Economic evaluation techniques and value assessment methodology 
Læringsaktiviteter:

12 weeks duration - during the first 4 weeks the 4 lectures described above will be presented. At the end of the 4 weeks period the student are expected to hand in a proposal for a project including problem definition and relevant theory.

As part of the project the students are expected to carry out a case study in practice.

For the last 10 weeks guidance and weekly follow up meetings will be held

Eksamensform og -beskrivelse:X. experimental examination form (7-scale; external exam)

Number of pages for the hand in: 20 pages + 4 pages pr. Group member (also counting the first member). A margin of +/- 10% considered within normal range

Duration: 20 minutes including feed back
