After the course the student should be able to:
• Conduct an interaction design projects and perform user-oriented design
• Select, combine, apply and compare a number methods for idea generation, data collection, data analysis, design and evaluation of relevance to the planning and execution of the interaction design project.
• Present and prototype interaction design concepts (or part thereof) using appropriate materials, tools and techniques
• Reflect on both practical and theoretical aspects of interaction design and the design process
Fagligt indhold:
Please note, that due to technical challenges, changes may occur before the start of the semester (week 35) – this applies to all sections of the course description.
The course prepares the student to carry out interaction design projects and investigate the design problem. The students will be presented with and use a variety of methods for idea generation, data collection, data analysis, design, prototyping and evaluation. Furthermore the students will consider the context in the design process.
