Læringsmål: | To provide students with a knowledge concerning the development of e-commerce markets and the markets for communication and information services with respect to the driving forces in supply and demand and business models. |
Fagligt indhold: | Convergence between IT, telecommunications and mass media constitutes an emerging framework for new opportunities for developing communication and information services and electronic commerce. Convergence also leads to a break-up of the dividing lines between different media, including existing business models. The course gives an overview of the technological, economic and political driving forces in the establishment of markets for communication and information services and the business models that are developing on that background, including electronic forms of commerce and economic relations that are prevalent on the different technological platforms. As a basis for the empirical knowledge, theories on information and network economics are presented. |
