14 week course comprised of lectures and exercises, reading, and 2 compulsory assignments. The lecture and exercise periods will at times be mixed. Lectures will introduce topics such as: • The evolution of interaction, digital media and digital platforms • Development methodologies • Design theory and basic digital design principles • Motion, animation, video & sound • Target groups / personas • Usability & user experience Exercises will introduce topics such as: • Ideation, Strategies & Tools of the trade • Defining goals and agendas • Use cases • Generating digital assets & optimization for the internet • motion & interaction • video & sound production/editing • Production methods / common practices • Preparation for Final Project The exercises will introduce and demonstrate Adobe CC tools (Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Edge), enabling students to produce digital products based on HTML5, CSS and jQuery. In connection with the final examination project, students will develop an interactive prototype, such as a website /webapp or an application for smartphones and tablets. It is possible to work on exercises in groups and deliver exams both in English and Danish. Der er mulighed for øvelseshold og eksamen på både dansk og engelsk. NB!! Course restriction!! Please note that this course used to be offered with the title Multimedia Production for the Internet - these two courses are identical and hereby block each other. That means that you cannot take this course, if you have already taken Multimedia Production for the Internet.
Exams constitute individual written projects without oral exam, evaluated on a 7 point grading system. The assessment of the final project will emphasize on knowledge of production methods, possible technical solutions, functionality, content, design and the ability to reflect on the theoretical and practical relationships between technology and interactive content
