This project is meant as a prior investigation before a larger project on using deep learning for tree inventory. Contacting possible users of algorithms designed during the aforementioned project will help tune the direction of the larger project. This smaller project will therefore consist of contacting possible users to learn about possible use cases of the algorithms as well as practical implementation details necessary for the usage of the algorithms. The hand-in will be a report containing the findings as well as reflections upon the possible impact of the larger project.
