Bachelor in Data Science

The course provides an introduction to IT security and privacy with the focus on data protection. The covered topics include the general principles of security and privacy, techniques for securing and anonymising the data, as well as challenges in security and privacy from technical, legal and human factor point of view. The course consists of lectures introducing and discussing concepts from the aforementioned topics, and of exercises and project work aimed for practical training in these concepts.

The course is mandatory for the students in the Bachelor of Science in Data Science program.
